THE CHALLENGE

PCSpecialist is a UK-based company specialising in custom-built PCs, laptops, and workstations for gamers, content creators, and professionals. Known for high-performance systems and bespoke builds, they aimed to elevate brand awareness and reinforce their position as a top provider of cutting-edge computing solutions.

OUR STRATEGY

To achieve these goals, PCSpecialist partnered with Forward & Thinking to deliver a high-impact, multi-platform campaign. From creative concept and TV advert
production to strategic media placement, we managed the campaign end-to-end.

A carefully selected media mix was deployed across three key platforms: TalkSport, Channel 4 (Linear & Streaming), and ITV (Linear & ITVX). Our execution included:

  • TV Advertising (Linear): Reached mainstream and gaming-related audiences through content on Channel 4 and ITV, driving brand visibility.
  • BVOD (Broadcaster Video on Demand): Engaged digital-first viewers via C4 Streaming and ITVX, extending reach beyond traditional TV.
  • Radio Advertising: TalkSport was strategically selected to target a male-skewed audience with high purchasing power.
  • A standout TV advert was produced to anchor the campaign, delivering a bold creative statement and reinforcing the PCSpecialist brand identity across all platforms.


THE RESULTS

  • Linear TV Performance: 1,024 total ad spots delivered, generating over 68.9 million impressions. Targeting was focused on gaming, tech content, and audiences with high online gaming spend.
  • BVOD Performance: 1,794,749 impressions with an average full view rate of 97.5%, exceeding the MOAT benchmark of 64.7%.

The multi-platform campaign successfully elevated PCSpecialist’s brand presence, delivering measurable reach and engagement among tech-savvy and gaming audiences. With high-impact placements across TV, BVOD, and radio, the campaign drove strong awareness and reinforced PCSpecialist’s position as a leader in the custom PC market.
