Fiona’s journey: Our top 30 under 30 winner

Fiona is a strong candidate, and the programme will be insightful and rewarding for her, we believe the LEAP Programme will unlock her abilities and help her flourish even further.

We know Fiona will become a positive ambassador for the programme and she will have our full support to pursue her personal and professional development.

Fiona joined Forward & Thinking just over 4 years ago as a Media Assistant. Her ability to thrive in a fast-paced role of bookings and artwork progressed her into a Senior Artwork Assistant and more recently to Campaign Manager.

She consistently thinks of the team and how we can improve efficiencies across the whole business. She has developed our client hub that is built around our client’s needs and has great feedback from our clients due to it giving them full 24-hour visibility of campaigns with on-demand support.

Matthew, Head of Media & Strategy (Digital) said

Fiona is a natural innovator who seems to have a knack for easily improving systems, creating efficiencies and problem solving.

In addition, Natalea, Head of Media & Strategy (OOH) said

Fiona always draws on past experiences to problem solve, maintain pace and unite the team and she never lets the probability of issues stop her from getting the desired outcome.

We are extremely proud of Fiona’s success!

FIONA spoke to us about her journey…

Where it all started

Who inspires you at Forward & Thinking?

Emily, our Media Planning Manager.

She always brings positive energy into the office and supports all the team. She was my mentor when I first started as a Media Assistant and her advice and enthusiasm helped me grow towards the role I’m in today.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A primary school teacher.

If you could say anything to younger Fiona, what would it be?

Go for it! Don’t be scared of anything.

Top 30 Under 30

How do you feel about winning this year’s Top 30 Under 30?

When I found out I was shocked, but I am so excited for this journey. I turn 30 next year so it’s nice to know I’ve won before the cut off!

What are you most excited about?

I am looking forward to meeting all the winners with the chance to make new friends, as an adult in a new city I’ve found it especially hard to do. The events and courses will be putting me outside my comfort zone, and I’m thrilled to learn and grow as a person.

Forward & Thinking are huge supporters of Top 30 Under 30 and with Natalie Downie and Emily Rymchuk successfully completing the programme, Forward & Thinking is a big advocate of the LEAP Programme and we understand the value it offers candidates.
