Wakefield Council celebrates Rhubarb Festival every year. Our team at Forward & Thinking supports their marketing team to increase awareness about the event, drive traffic to the landing page and increase footfall on the day. We often work with clients as an extension of their in-house marketing team.
The campaign
Following our data-led planning process, Forward & Thinking developed a detailed digital marketing strategy targeting the key audiences in the region. Our digital planners targeted audience interests as well as demographics. The campaign featured a carefully selected range of Google Network advertising channels and products like Google Display and Google Search. Our mid-campaign data analyses revealed how males/females interacted with the campaign content.
The results
Our team at Forward & Thinking strive to continuously improve our client work. Our aim was to significantly increase the Google Search CTR from the previous campaign and we succeeded! Google Display Network ads performed particularly well due to our careful targeting. The entire digital campaign was highly successful in increasing website traffic and overall footfall to the Wakefield Rhubarb Festival.
