We have been working with educational clients for over 15 years now. So, when Trafford College Group approached us to increase awareness for their Open Days we jumped at the opportunity. Open Days are important events for colleges to convince prospective parents and students that their institution is the right choice. We needed to make sure to reach as many target audiences as possible in the run-up to the event.
Forward & Thinking’s data-led planning process revealed the key out-of-home media sites around all three campuses. In addition to booking these through our long-established supplier network, we advised on a targeted video-on-demand campaign. This was aimed at prospective student and influencer demographic age groups in the defined target regions.
The results were outstanding! We used ITV‘s video-on-demand as part of our campaign and received over 1000 additional plays which were secured by the Forward & Thinking team free of charge. We also saw a high completion rate of 98.3% on this platform which was a cost-effective way for us to reach over 9000 unique users. In terms of the out-of-home campaign, the proof of posting reports demonstrated the number of different locations that our media had been displayed across our geographical location. The use of a digi-van mid-way through the campaigns helped to ensure our message was seen.
