Hull4Heroes – Charity of the Year
Our parent company SAAS Global, the East Yorkshire based media and technology holding company, has chosen Hull4Heroes as its charity of the year.
Hull4Heroes will benefit from a year-long fundraising programme planned and executed by SAAS Global subsidiaries’ employees. In addition, they will have access to in-house resources and knowledge to help build organisational capacity.
Andrew Johnson, founder and director of SAAS Global, explains: “Supporting our community is important to us – as a business and on a personal level.
“Hull4Heroes was founded by Paul Matson, who, having served in the British Military himself, wanted to offer support to veterans leaving the army and finding themselves adrift from mainstream society. A number of our employees including our Operations Director, Steve Brindle, a former Royal Navy veteran, suggested them as our charity of the year,“ Andrew states.
“We have one common purpose: to help our Veterans in the region. Being supported by local businesses is absolutely vital to do so. We are thrilled to be partnering with SAAS Global for the next 12 months,” says Paul Matson, founder of Hull4Heroes.
Our Digital Marketing Manager Lance Brook met up with Paul and Trevor to discuss all things digital and upcoming events and activities. Watch this space!
